• Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design: Environmental planning practices and collective community action towards establishing safe communities. 
• Safe and Walkable Community: A community that promotes safe pedestrian activity through planned pathway connectivity, pocket parks and alleyways. 
• Provision of services: What services are available to encourage public safety.
