2023-2025 Pre-Budget Survey
Introduction
White City is inviting residents to participate in the planning of the 2023 Annual Budget and 2023-2025 Multi-Year Budget.
The Town is looking to get public feedback with a budget survey that will help shape the vision of the 2023 Annual Budget and future budgeting processes. The Town provides a number of programs, services and events for residents - budget planning involves work to make sure that programs and services are provided at an affordable level while making strategic capital investment in the growth of our community.
The 2023 Annual Budget is being developed on a status-quo basis that anticipates the that no COVID-19 restrictions will impact events or services in 2023. In the event that the community of White City, Emerald Park and the surrounding subdivisions are brought together under one urban municipal government, a new budget will be developed as part of a transition period.
To thank you for your valuable time and input we will be giving away prizes for participants that complete the survey.
This survey is being sent to all residents of White City via the town's website, social media and Voyent Alert! messaging system, a postcard is also being sent to all residents of White City - responses will be made publicly available by November 30, 2022. No names or identifying information will be attributed to responses.
This survey will be open from September 9 - 23 for responses.
Survey Length
The full survey will take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete, at the end of each section, participants will be prompted to continue to additional questions or move to the end of the survey.
Anonymity and Information Sharing
Your participation in this survey is completely voluntary. If you decide to take part, you can stop the survey at any time. No personal information will be collected. Your answers will be kept anonymous and confidential. The responses you provide will be combined with the responses of other survey participants and individual responses will not be identified. Please do not include personal or identifiable information in the comments, such as your name, email address, phone number, address, etc.
Your survey response is collected through the Town of White City’s Bang the Table / Engagement HQ platform and will be analyzed by the Town of White City. Your responses will remain anonymous. This collection is authorized under The Local Authority Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (LAFOIP Act).
